After graduating just recently with a Master’s degree, I’m off to embark on another one. The reason being unemployment. It was very hard for me to look for a job and people have suggested that I might as well study again while I’m waiting and looking for one. At least I can still build my resume and learn and do something. I heeded their advice and I am now doing a fully online Master’s degree.

I finished off all the admin tasks yesterday and got started with the work. I have so much to catch up on since I got enrolled late thanks to the unstable PNG internet connection. I had to get organized and take in as much as I can from past and current lectures. I am doing two courses at the moment, which is half my usual. But this is proving to be more challenging than I expected because one needs a group report and an assignment due in 2weeks that I still have no idea about and the other is just full of lectures to read. Oh well… I can do it!

I have to get back to it later on. I can’t now because of the time difference, my fellow group members wouldn’t be on.

Yesterday, I was out with E (she doesn’t want her name be posted, but you know who it is… Hehehe…) On our way to Randwick, we went through uni and at the sidewalk was a small penguin stuffed animal. I pointed at it and exclaimed: “Wow! So cute!” Than E goes: “How cute! But how does it survive here?” I was like… errrr…. “Eee! It’s not real!” As we walked nearer to it, she realised that it wasn’t and started laughing. Hahahaha… There was one other thing she said that made me see the reality perception pattern. Oh how I wish I could remember what that was.

Then that night, while I was at their place, she suddenly took off her glasses and trying to open her eyes really wide with her fingers. And then she was like scanning the living room with that pose. Just like this:

You should definitely see it, it’s way funnier in real life. First reaction I had to that was, “What the hell?!” Then she realised what she must have looked like doing it and we were laughing our heads off. Hahaha…

Oh Ms E, having breakfast during dinner… Thinking stuffed animals are real and alive… *shakes head* Tsk tsk tsk… Hehehe…
